This album is our most extensive project to date, clocking in at two and a half hours and released in three volumes. It consists of 48 tracks: 24 preludes and 24 improvisations, each corresponding to a key in the 12-tone scale. Some keys are approached in vastly different moods and interpretations, reflecting the varied sides of our personalities, while others are intentionally similar, evoking calm and introspection.

During the recording sessions, we decided to play and record all the pieces sequentially and continuously, from C major to B minor, to preserve a natural and organic flow in the music. As our moods, feelings, and thoughts evolved throughout the process, so did the music—and we felt it was vital to capture and retain that progression.

Our approach of playing in every key was loosely inspired by Das Wohltemperierte Klavier by Johann Sebastian Bach, a work that has been replicated many times and even has its roots in earlier traditions from the 16th and 17th centuries. When we began planning this project, we felt that the conceptual framework of traversing all keys resonated deeply with us.
