The album is, as the title suggests, calm and tranquil music in which we take our freely improvised sound to new places. If our previous album Slåttermyren was more of a myriad of emotional expressions and compositional exploration, Musik att somna till (Music for Falling Asleep) is another step—more stripped-down, yet much deeper—in that direction.

This time, we chose to focus on the minimalist qualities that have always been part of our music. Each track on the album is a small microcosm—a meditative soundscape for the listener to enter, whether for a short pause or an extended moment of stillness.

In E Major – Fält ("Field"), you might find yourself in a quiet meadow in the height of summer, feeling nothing but a gentle breeze. And in D Minor/Major – Is ("Ice"), you’re transported to the pack ice, surrounded by silence and an endless horizon.
